PR Newswire starts at $775 for their single press release distribution. The results are also comparable to the ones from Press Release Jet. You do get more customer service with PR Newswire but when you are paying over $700 more for a press relesae, that should be a given.

As for free press release distribution services, there have not been a single one out of over 15 services that we have tried where the results were decent. Your press release lives just on their website, which does virtually no service to you. A few of them syndicated to spammy websites that they owned.

All in all, being brutally honest, we recommend staying away from the free press release sites because they are a waste of time. Hackathon focused on RFID, NFC and BLE mash-ups results in exciting new applications

Dallas, Texas – TrackHack: The Proximity ID Hackathon, the world’s first and only hackathon focused exclusively on proximity technologies like radio frequency identification (RFID), near field communication (NFC) and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), announced today the winners of its premiere event at London Campus, a Google Space, November 20-22, 2015.

Along with partner Flomio, AccelerateNFC created TrackHack: The Proximity ID Hackathon to address the cross-over and interconnection among various proximity technologies used for mobile solutions. She designed the Teddy Cat and through Kickstarter was able to launch the furry beast. Now with backers from across the US and Europe she is using the proceeds to deliver Teddy Cats to children in need this holiday season. 

“So far we have been able to send Teddy Cats to children in need in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Mississippi and The Philippines,” said Lauren Webber, “It’s been so much fun to see other children love the Teddy Cat as much as I do.”

For every Teddy Cat purchased, The Teddy Cat company will deliver another Teddy Cat to a child in need.
